GOVERNMENT POLICY OF THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE IN THE FIELD OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The main purpose of the article is to analyze the approach of the Republic of
Singapore in the regulation the field of intellectual property, being one of the world
leaders in the protection of IP rights. The methodology of the study is based on the
review of the system of government regulation in scientific, financial, legal and
informational dimensions. The article draws attention to the importance of stimulating
the activity of the IP market through the implementation of state programs in the field
of shared financing of patent expenses, consistent information provision and advisory
support to the intellectual product owners at the stages of creation and
commercialization of IP objects. In the article, the author notes the steps to the
development of an innovative ecosystem and an established system of control over the
protection of intellectual property rights as a favorable climate for the activities of hightech business. The main results of the author's research are as follows: studying the
experience of Singapore, as a country with considerable achievements in the field of
supporting intellectual property, can become an example for developing a new strategy
to improve the state regulation system of this field in Uzbekistan.
