CHALLENGES AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TAKAFUL ACCOUNTING

Abstract

Takaful insurance is a rapidly growing industry that requires specialized accounting practices and standards. However, the accounting practices and standards for takaful are still under development and have been subject to much debate and discussion. This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of takaful accounting practices and identify the main challenges facing takaful accounting. It also provides recommendations for addressing these challenges and improving the overall effectiveness of takaful accounting practices. The study uses a mixed-methods approach, including a review of the literature, a survey of takaful professionals, and case studies of takaful companies.
