Abstract

In 2015, the United Nations introduced the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a means of achieving a more sustainable and improved future for everyone. SDG 7 is a crucial objective, which strives to provide affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy to all, while also ensuring access to modern energy sources[1]. Uzbekistan, being a developing nation, confronts several hurdles in realizing this objective, such as insufficient infrastructure, high energy consumption, and inadequate access to clean energy sources. This thesis aims to investigate the potential of promoting secure energy practices in Uzbekistan to contribute towards attaining SDG 7. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the present state of Uzbekistan's energy sector, including the policies and initiatives currently being implemented, as well as the challenges and prospects.
